Week 2: Healthy Eating and Exercise Journal

This week we will be looking at creating a healthy eating and exercise journal where we will record our eating habits and physical activity resumes. Everyone will be given a 10,000 STEPS pedometer and will record the steps undertaken each day in a log by registering as a 10,000 STEPS member on the http://www.10000steps.org.au/ website. After joining the program you will need to post your 10,000 STEPS URL to your blog. To get an example of what your steps log might look like, follow this link http://www.10000steps.org.au/my-steplog/daily-steps/">10,000

To effectively record your eating habits and exercise resumes you will need to create a spreadsheet.This spreadsheet needs to include the following;

Exercise:

  •  A title
  • The days of the week
  • Name of activity undertaken
  • Total time spent doing activity

Eating habits:

  • A title
  • The days of the week
  • Whether the food you ate was healthy or unhealthy

An example of this is below:
