- What is the purpose of a healthy lifestyle?
- Who/What can influence a healthy lifestyle?
- How could we promote healthy lifestyles in the school environment?
You need to keep these questions in mind when you are participating in your weekly tasks. These weekly tasks will contribute to your final assessment piece so you need to pay attention and try to complete the actvities on a regular basis.
What does the assessment require?
The assessment task is creating a Movie (using MovieMaker) or PowePoint presentation to answer the above questions. It is to be completed in pairs (or in groups in negoition with your teacher) and should highlight what you have learnt over a 6 week period. The video in which you will produce must contain the following;
- A clear heading
- A record of you and your partners healthy eating and exercise journals
- A spreadsheet highlighting the steps you have undertaken within a weeks period
- Information related to the three key questions
- An interview with a health professional
Most of these will be completed in class. To make your video as engaging as possible you might want to consider adding the following :
- Youtube clips
- Images
- Voki
- Music
Due Dates:
Video Presentation : Week 6 Monday 10th October
Written Reflection: Week 6 Friday 15th October
What might it look like?
The following is an example of what it might look like or what it might include, please note your final product will need much more evidence! I created this through MovieMaker but you may wish to use PowerPoint. the choice is up to you. Please make sure you acknowledge any references to music or information. The music is by Bob Marley (song, three little birds) and the images are from google images.
